1. This is needed, now if you want xfs to go huge; could take 6months to code this out... but will be worth the effort.
| Code: | plugin structure something similar to vbulletin/ipb/wordpress do
so we don't need to upgrade entire code each time a new release comes & loose existing custom codes, also there will be less bloat code in core package ; each addon can have its own plugin
also this will make things a lot easier for you guys to customize sites; as the core code wouldn't need much of a change

2. very very very important
| Code: | make edge nodes (similar to cdn; but we can have different subdomains), that would just serve files and backend can be NFS/SAN; this is the real bottle neck with all current xfs sites as they cant scale it properly due to this
in current design, if 1file gets popular say 1000 downloaders jump on that the speeds will deteriorate for everyone and each file on that fileserver |

All of this is quite good idea, but if we will implement it - that will be nearly impossible to upgrade from previous versions. |

for plugins, not sure why we cant ? only database/file structure can be kept be same; or you can even write a import script to change database structure , same can be done for file structure .. just matter or writing a smart upgrade script
regarding edge nodes, this can be implemented with current design; might need a few changes, i would suggest you look deeper into this before making a decision on it
i don't see a need for 2.0, if you are not going to radically change the script ; no point delaying development ... 1.x series code is like 3 years old now ? i understand its been polished over the years, but time to take a different approach
better release 1.9.5 in the meanwhile with small modifications to current script which will give you enough time to code 2.0
don't take this post as anti-sibsoft or something like that, i really appreciate the work done so far ; just want xfs to get better  |

- Better support for moving files between servers, now very often lost files
- Happy hours, in this time do not apply to limits (example transfer)
- Automatic status of file servers, when the data take 98%, then file server status is changed to readonly. When a seat becomes available it is the server automatically. If the files require less than 98%, then automatically the status ON. |

- option for fxp would be nice
- better admin osd
- and a better filecheck option ( with Filesize, Onlinestatus and Filename)
- and for those, how want use Jdownloader, maybe a option to enable/disable Jd support  |

- FTP upload (somewhere I had seen this?!)
- choosing which server are storage server (site upload) and which server will leech from other hosts (url leech)
- premium expire email (before and after)
- ability to flag free-url-leech files to be deleted earlier then files uploaded direct on the site |

Good to hear about new version of xfs. below is some feature and mod I have in my mind and I see it at some other image hosting site.
- Upload image/video via webcam.
- App for iphone/android smartphone.
- Anti cheating (anti fake views)
- Automatic scan nude/porn image then send report to admin (I think this feature is impossible )
- User page , its like social page. User can write some information about themselves like they can add avatar image, Mood/ status: happy , user can add or request friend with other user, leave messenger, or subscribe (if friend upload new image all other friend will receive email or messenger about new image uploaded)
- Edit image online after upload use ( http://pixlr.com or http://fotoflexer.com/ )
- Image categories (admin will create categories image and when user upload image they will required to choose categories for image/videos so we will have 1 page will list all categories image/videos )
- webmaster affiliate (webmaster who have own the forum/website can sign up webmaster affiliate program so they will earn money when visitor who view image come from webmaster website, webmaster must verify that they are owner and have full control of their website, when webmaster sign up they will receive txt file and they must upload that txt file to his website and verify via meta tag )
- When upload multiple upload (upload more file) uploadresult.html page should show like this http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/593/multiov.png/
because when user upload more image like 50 or 100 image they don't need to scrolling down.
- User can create image slideshow.
- Show thumbnail in my image (my files) , default no show and user have option show thumbnail image when they want.
- In embed upload must show forum link, html link and hot link. I see that embed upload only show Download link.
- Reject payment and ban member reason (when reject any payment or ban any member admin can insert reason and that member can know the reason )
- Show country flag in next to ip address (in user list and last download..)
- Banned website referral (image will no show on that website and will not count view if visit come from that website)
- Confirm when delete image (because sometime I make mistake then click on delete button then image or user will be delete without confirm).

Take in the next XFS Version the ability to display the Limits in GB and not MB( We life in the fast Internet Time, so 512000MB do not look like 50GB Traffic... |

additional:
- Easy to setup nginx mod, like when we buy a nginx mod so we only need install nginx on our server then login to admin click on nginx check box to start nginx , we don't need to email sibsoft when we install new nginx server.
just buy nginx mod, install nginx on our server then nginx will working don't need to email sibsort to make private setting to make nginx work. |

here is a lot of good idea
A good things is to separate custom mods of the basic code, because it's so difficult to upgrade to the next version of xfs.
Termination of my license and I'll renew it if next version is interesting. |

We have many problem with filesonic or other premium site that have passworded the link. |
