Can files be password protected.

I am starting to get people to upload adult files to our new adult filehosting site but was wondering can the files be password protected so that they are safer or can that not be done on the free version.

well, this is what it all can do

ClamAV Antivirus validation (if ClamAV installed)
Adjustable counter in download section (users will spend more time on your pages)

so if i read right , they can put a lock on it

you cant protect it on your own

the persones who uploads it can protect it by clicking on more options (that link under upload Razz

)

then they get a extra list where they can fill in to send a file and a link to ask for a password

this is a example of a protected file

i dont going share the password because its a private file Razz

but it just shows that there is a password on it

Yes, user can set password during upload. It's in "Advanced options" on upload form.

there is 1 other way to lock files

if you go to admin arena
then you see the button called files

click on it and then you see to the right a arrow or a notepad

click on it

then set password

safe

and done :d it got a password on it
