| .htaccess won't help here. Use username different from 'admin','root' and use some random long password. |

Can also add:
- A good antivirus program.
- Dont save your password in plain text.
- Use etc Lastpass.com as your password manager.
- Use https when logging in on your site.
- Use 14+ long password, and change it every month.
- Dont login on unsecure computers.

use a non alphanumerical character in your password, &#$ for example.
if you have something like !~{*hellothisisapassword*}~! noone is ever going to crack it |
