How to set the Upload, download and Video Streaming Speed???

1. Admin told me dl.cgi eating too much RAM so
it's better to use 'generate direct links' in user limit setting
So I changed all user level to use the generate direct links but
the problem is I can not set the download speed in generate direct links
mode.

anyone know how to?

2. and also how can I set the upload speed depends on the user level?

3. I put the JW player in the download page so user can watch video file
before download it, so here is another problem. How can I set the
streaming speed? because some users internet speed so fast so they
even get 1MB streaming speed and other's can not watch properly.

currently I'm using 100mbps unmetered nework speed but it went up to
130mbps yesterday. This is urgent issue T-T..
please give me some answers..

If want to control download/streaming speed - the best way is to go with nginx. We're using custom nginx setup which allow to control download speed via xfilesharing admin panel, even when you're using direct links.
