I want to add variable to main.html is it possible and how?

I would like to add some variables to main.html template - maybe through index.cgi so we can further customize templates. I thisnk that this was asked already but I haven't found answer and I would appreciate any help.

We would like to add current logged username, some additional user/premiumuser info and some other data. I know how to add variables/data to templates but I don't know how to do it through to main.html?

hm lets say when user logs in to show:

speed, space, registered/premium? etc.

like that? this is no problem and easy to do. let me know if I can help

I would like to add my own variables to main.html , I am looking for someone that can point me to correct subroutine in cgi scripts so that I can do it myself. I am able to do that in sub-templates but I am having trouble understanding logic used to transfer variables to main.html template.

Are there any developers online, support, anyone?

I would like to add captcha to first page as modal dialog, for that I need (among many other modifications I am making as developer) IHTML variable passed to main.html template.

We are using commercial version of XFileSharingPro, you can PM me if neccessary.
