| Just wondering if this is a option with the streaming videos being played? Like if free users can only watch 60min of streaming content before being cut off? |

Not possible with current script.
You will need your player to update database to tell how much a user has watched & need a custom flash / divx player.
Or use basic .js , but that will be easy to bypass. |

| So there would be no way to limit streamed content? Even if you could limit by MB, say they load a 500mb file, but only watch 3 min of it and the limit is 600mb, they only have 1mb left... |

Everything is possible
JW player supports these options, but XFS script need some custom coding to make it work with both "limited" and regular usage |

Quick mod on nginx adding mp4 streaming module.
small changes in XFS nginx conf
so.addVariable('type', 'lighttpd');
so.addVariable('start', 'starttime');
so.addVariable('end', 'endtime');
its fully possible, but not with vanilla xfs 1.8 |

| This function is already available in XVideoSharing. I don't understand why it isn't also available for who bought the video mod for XFS. This is a must! |

If they put it on Xfilesharing then people don't have to buy XVideoSharing. LOL |

And you think that people who already have XFS and, I repeat, the Video Mod is going to spend another $ 1,000 to get that single function?
I would rather spend a fraction of that and get a mod. |
