Normal Upload Stuck at Initializing [Remote Works Fine]

Hey,

for some reason on my site

(link can be found at http://belginfish.com/link.txt )

whenever someone tries to upload a file normally from their computer it gets stuck at initializing upload, but if they do a remote upload it works just fine.

Any ideas why?

is it because I'm on lighttpd? and even then I don't understand why it would work for the remote url upload and not the regular upload. Does it work on nginx?
