| a user of mine is having the same problem, and he is the only one who uses it ??? desktop uploader = fail? |

Hmmm...probably you don't have "\Modules\CGI\Simple.pm" on your file-server.
Download latest ZIP from your client area and sync Modules folder for File-server only.
Also download and install Uploader again to make sure you're using the latest version. |
