Yes, but you will need to configure 2 file servers. "uploads" folder of 2nd file server should point to 2nd HDD (symlink). |

The easiest way is to put whole fileserver on 2nd HDD.
But I usually prefer to install 2nd fileserver in subfolder, then use symlink (ln -s) to create link to temp, uploads folders on 2nd HDD. |

I have a server with 2 harddisks.
Server has domain and all www folders installed in 1st harddisk but I want to use 2nd harddisk as an additional space for storing files within XFileSharingPro too so how do I really do this. 2nd disk is not even mounted yet. |

| If you have cpanel, mount the new hd as /home3 and setup a new account on it and upload the file server files there and it should work. |

I had not understood well what was suggested before in this thread. Now I got it. just in case anyone else having the same issue here is what I did.
- I have added a subdomain in plesk
- I have mounted second hard disk as the "uploads" folder of that subdomain
- Added the subdomain as a new server in admin panel
so far so good. it all seems to work. |
