i installed xupload free version (i'm new to this..)
when i upload a file using ie6 or firefox i get upload speeds of 40 Kbytes/Sec.
but i have dsl that goes up to 89Kbytes/Sec. i can upload at that speed using ftp filezilla program
is there any way to configure xupload to upload faster or can anyone tell me why or how to make it upload faster please help

You get 89Kb/s using FTP protocol, it's specially designed for file transfer.
XUpload as all web applications use HTTP protocol, it works slower for file transfer. You can upload with FTP protocol only using Java applets, but that's not that flexible since you can't check/process files on server directly after upload. |
