hi friends,

Is possible actually to set a Upload speed limit like we can do with the download speed?

If not, I would like to make that a suggestion for 1.8 version. I think that was great If we can set that limitation and set only higher speeds to our premium users.

I had this idea because I have a fast dedicated server and the upload speed is too high... I didn't lunch my website yet, but I think that If many users upload things at same time, the server goes slow... right?

its kinda useless to limit upload speed

as example

i got a fast internet ( 25mb/s download and 1mb/S upload)

so i can upload against 150kb/Sec

but not every1 can upload that fast , most users can upload against 50kb/sec

so you want to bring that down to 25kb/sec ??

the upload makes your name , thats where they see and feel the speed of your server

the download goes always a lot faster and that can let crash your server , but uploads not

non registered = 150kb/s

registered = 350 kb/s

premium = no limit ( 10mb/s )

why so low ?? because most users got around the 512kb/s as max download speed , and they like fast downloads so they need to register to gain a bit faster download

and if they realy like it then they become premium ^^ (still got no1 :S)
