Amazon S3 or Dedicated Servers Which one do you think it's worth it or not.

Amazon:
+ Amazon S3 is known for its quality, if you were to offer it, you'd know that your visitors would always get decent speeds (stable routing) all around the world.
- If you're operating a service which consumes a lot of space/bandwidth, Amazon would only get a lot more expensive in the long run.

Dedicated Servers:
+ You can set-up your servers any way you like (the amount of drives, processor, RAM and even network) depending on your custom needs. And it is a lot cheaper in the long run when compared to Amazon.
- You do need to know how to manage your servers (or have someone do it for you) and you'd have to monitor and do custom tweaking.

Long story short. If you only offer small files (docs, pdfs and perhaps even images), you could consider Amazon as an option. But if your users are also going to upload big files (rar archives, video and such), I'd definitely go with a dedicated server.

My advice, try to come up with an estimate of how much space/bandwidth you'll consume. And use those numbers you've come up with in the Amazon S3 calculator, that should you give an idea of how much it'll cost.
Compare those same numbers with a server (from Leaseweb or something) and see which one comes out on top.

At the end, it all depends on what you'd like to offer your clients.
