Atom enough ?

Anyone using atom based File Servers ?

i will be using nginx and expecting 1000+ downloads at a time

The D510 atom can handle ftp or basic http downloads at 300 to 400 Mbps.

But I don't recommend it for busy XFS sites because Atoms are limited to 2 or 4 GB RAM and the CPU speed is similar to an 10 year-old design.

You can certainly start with an Atom and migrate later to a better platform.

Atom servers are cheap, but I will never recommend even for medium traffic website.
