bugs in demo

#1 Postby PowerChaos » Feb 19, 2012 11:19 pm

hi,
i checked out the demo for 2 min and i found alreay 2 big bugs

first bug is the fullscreen bug

free users (non registered users) are not suposed to go fullscreen

sadly enouf , jwplayer got a right click option to put on fullscreen
so even as free user you go fullscreen

second bug in the demo is the psuedostreaming
as it is flv or mp4 should it support psuedostreaming

seems that the demo does not support it , on a 5 min video i skip to the middle part and the movie restarts

so far the bugs on a quick look

To support team, I'm actually considering investing on this product, so as the above posters said. Are you looking into these bugs ?

That psuedostreaming doesnt works can have to do that this is just a demo
as it requere a extra module to be installled ( on apache)

Code: Select all

this is what he use for his demo
Server	Apache/2.2.8 (CentOS)
same will pobaly count for the vieuw limit , it is not possible to put a limit on XX min if it can not say how long it is in first place

not sure if the admin is willing to install the pseudostreaming for the demo , as it need a bit of configuration

for the fullscreen part , thats sadly enouf still a bug and to fix that probaly the jwplayer code need to be differend or it need to be a custom player that removed the fullscreen function unless provided with a code ( fullscreen=allow for example )

hopely this helps you already a bit

Sibsoft, are you guys planning on fixing these things? Or are you guys going to come out with a version 2 of the script with new modifications and such?

Thank you

Hi,

sorry for not responding here.

1. pseudostreaming were fixed some time ago.
2. as for full screen - looks like we can't get rid of that option on right click. There was solution for old versions, but not with the new one. Will try to contact longtail and ask about that.
