These are the best offers for file hosting IMHO:

Good price: https://fdcservers.net/dedicated-servers.php

Good quality: http://www.leaseweb.com/en/bare-metal-servers

Nice price: http://www.soyoustart.com/ie/offers.xml

I'm using Afterburst. afterburst.com. I'm new to xfilesharing but not new to filesharing. If there is anyone that could suggest differently, please let me know. Like ngeinc I am just starting with xfilesharing and need all the help I can get. I like Afterburst because the servers are cheap and run really nice. They are VPS and I am on a budget so for $10.00 (was $7.50) and the Amazon S3 plugin, its working for me.

I would accept any constructive criticism from the veterans on my startup choices.

Good luck ngeinc.

This is a good topic. Can someone please help me on this? There has to be a cheaper way to do what I am doing.

30 gig fileserver using Centos 6. $7.50/ mo.

Is cPanel needed for a fileserver? I know it makes it much easier to setup but can it be done by just using Centos?

What is the cheapest and easiest way to setup a fileserver without using cPanel?

Thanks!

Best prince for dedicated servers is http://www.soyoustart.com/ie/offers.xml
