Child abuse images on hosts ??

#1 Postby PowerChaos » Sep 11, 2011 12:58 pm

hi all
this is maybe a strange question
but lately i got some uploaders who are uploading child abusing images/video's

now my question
does other hosts have that problem to ?

if so , what action dit you take for this

in my case i send those abuse to differend departments who take care of it and on that way i try to stop child abusing

the reason why i ask it is to get more info about what exactly get done and what exactly can be done against it

Thank You

I just delete them. I had the problem for a couple weeks. Haven't had any reports for months now.

child porn is a real plague on filehosting websites
in my experience around 50% of all uploaded split archives smaller than 50 mb contain child porn. generally these come from closed sharing groups, meaning no one will report them anywhere soon.

The solution: (well not a perfect solution because they keep coming sometimes still)
1. state in your TOS that you will report everything to the police related to cp.
2. Report uploader and download IP's and timestamps to the police, if you're hosted in the Netherlands you can do this by contacting the klpd (politie), I can give you the email of someone in the cp department if you want.
3. Ban all uploader/downloader IP
4. Ban all TOR IP's
5. Look for small sized split archives which have each part uploaded by different IP's and have only blank referrers... investigate them.

I've uploaded a few IP's that have uploaded cp (first section) and downloaders (second section) to http://www.boosterking.com/xv91vhjc4ot8 ... t.txt.html
I stopped storing them after a month or so since there are just too many and most of them are proxies... but you should still ban them..

Thank you
i got somewhere a script that blocks 99% of all proxy's , but unlucky it blocks a lot of normal users to

the script itself checks if the ip can be acces from the web or not , if not then it allows , if it can acces then it blocks

if you like i can provide you that script , but blocking proxy's is just a waste of time ( most proxy's just survive 2 months , speaking out of experiance with my 2 years old proxy :D )

still thank you for that list

its nice to know that there are other people who fight against it
