#1 Postby peterv » Aug 25, 2009 10:28 pm

Will XFileSharingPro work on Godaddy shared linux hosting? Can you upload a file of 2gb to Godaddy?

Thanks

If you mean shared hosting from Godaddy - then yes, that should work. However, we recommend to go with dedicated servers. Shared servers is too limited in memory/cpu resources.

As far as I remember they were limiting max upload size to 100 or 50 Mb.

First, Grid hosting on godaddy is not stable with the script.
second they will not allow file repository and they will terminate the account.

I am looking at this script.I read this post, and it had me wondering also.I contacted Godaddy, and they asured me that
i can use their service if i get a dedicated server. But i can not use it on the shared account i have now.So i only have a few questions about the script.Ill go to the correct thread for them.
