Error - CGI.pm did not return a true value

#1 Postby th3hotcake » Feb 06, 2010 2:17 am

"Software error:

CGI.pm did not return a true value at /var/www/cgi-bin/api.cgi line 6.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /var/www/cgi-bin/api.cgi line 6."

Not sure what to do.

The site has been working for over a week now.

This error happens when clicking the download button. So it must be an error with the upload server, not the main site.

I really need some help with this, Pilgrim. The site is completely broken with my download server not working. The Modules folder is in tact.

reupload every file ??

if it isnt the main server but the download server then you are working with 2 differend servers

so just do a fresh install of the download server ?? (be sure to make a backup)

but you say it was fine , so your download server is new ??

then check your perl modules if they are installed right , because that gives sometimes a error to

and if you just want to have it easy , go to cpanel , ask a trial and instal cpanel on it and everything works like it need to be :D (takes about 3 hours to install cpanel :S and 10GB space but it works :D)

hopes this can help you
