Getting an upload started, path wrong prob

#1 Postby Krisando » Dec 24, 2008 8:52 pm

I've downloaded Xupload and uploaded while following all instructions which came with it. Im not sure if theres something I must change or if my host "bluehost" does not support these scripts.
Im not too sure you can try the uploader to get the 404 error once you click the upload button at http://krisando.com/uploader/upload_form.html =]

Heres ftp access so you can have a closer look:
FTP Username: [email protected]
Password: upload
FTP Server: ftp.krisando.com
FTP Server Port: 21

The data structure from home to public_html goes:
"/www/uploader/cgi-bin"
If thats any help im not sure.

Thankyou for your time and effort =]
Much appreciated, Kris.

Usually we don't help with Free version, but it's Christmas time now :)
You had: bad chmod on cgi files, temp/upload folders; wrong url for form action and progress bar popup. Wrong folders in config.

Thankyou, it works a treat now =]

I will pay for a version some time don't worry about that,
I wouldn't pay for something which I couldn't get working so helping people with the free version may be a good way to get more paying users and spread the word of there reccomended file uploader ;P
