One solution is to build up a iprange ban list that covers the big datacenters.

CSF software firewall supports clustering. So you only need to ban the range on one server and it get distributed to the others.

Do you mean ban these big data center IPS from uploading files to file servers? Or block them from Nginx?

There are lot of legit up-loaders using big data center server for uploading.

I am not sure how exactly this plugin works to be honest. My understanding is that this proxy.swf connects to the video page and grabs the file location from it. Then it feeds this file directly to the hacker's player overriding ads?

Can someone confirm that?
Thanks

Ok, I have just installed gkplugins just to find out how it works.
It works on client side, meaning, banning server ip address running gkplugins is of no use.

Gkplugins is like cURL. All it does is scrape pages for direct video link.
cURL runs on server. We can just ban the server ip.
gkplugins runs on client machines via flash.

The only way to stop this is to use captcha to play video, provided the captcha is not bypassable.

I know we can enable Captcha on download1.html page but they can still steal from embed video page.

Has anyone tried putting Captcha on that page? Really need a solution to this, I noticed many more sites using this during the last 2 days,

Thanks in advance for any contributions to the thread.
