Illegal character

#1 Postby Ugly Mau » Jan 26, 2010 10:53 am

hi
I have a problem with a page that uses XUpload, this has been moved from one server to another. The first server everything worked correctly, after the exchange server has stopped working.
The two servers are identical, same path, same permissions set (755. Cgi etc) ...
The page returns this notice ( "illegal character" on line 1 upload.cgi-> #! / Usr / bin / perl)
I use:
XUpload Pro 2.5
Linux server (with CGI and Perl active)

What should I check?

Thanks

Probably uploaded in text mode. Use binary FTP mode to upload .cgi scripts.

Or maybe edited the script and saved it with windows linebreaks, then use our tool to remove them: http://www.sibsoft.net/cgi-bin/Tools/nl.cgi

I tried to do both those things suggested, but the problem remains unchanged.

Thanks

I'm trying everything, the problem remains the same.
When I send the form gives me this error in the console of Firefox: "pass_required is not defined"
I did not set a password to upload ...

Suggestions?
