Installing

#1 Postby illusion » Aug 03, 2008 7:37 am

Hi,

I just got my server and am busy setting it up, however I have been having a few problems getting it all to work...

From what my phpinfo page says, I have the mod_rewrite on, and I have tested it and it works.
I don't think I have;
* LWP, DBI, DBD::mysql Perl modules

I got this message when I typed in perl -MCPAN -eshell
Image

not sure what its telling me :(

and I always get a server 500 unless I comment out one line in the .htaccess file, which is 'RewriteEngine on' then it takes me to a your site administrator has not setup their website blah..

help?? :)

Thanks

Illusion.

That's weird. No CPAN on server? Do you have cPanel or something? There should be special tool to install perl modules.
Wait, is there Perl installed? :)
