Limiting free-users downloads by hour

#1 Postby th3hotcake » Apr 07, 2009 7:26 pm

First of all, great script. Got it installed a few days ago and it runs great.

But currently, it is set up to limit downloads by day. I was wondering if it is possible to limit it by hour instead? It probably is and I just don't understand how it works. Just let me know!

Also, could you explain the different between the "Max bandwidth per day" and "Max bandwidth last X days"... which one should I use and how do I deactivate one and use the other?

I don't see the point in having both. They seem so similar.

It's simple.
For example - if you set the 2400 MB in max bandwidth per day your and your user will download 100MB part for the next download user will have to wait 1h.
If your user will download one 200MB part for the next download user will have to wait 2h, etc

I see. That wasn't explained very well in the instructions.

Then what is "Max bandwidth last X days" for? What is the purpose of that?
Thanks for the reply,

It will give message that user used his download limit only AFTER reaching it. If user haven't reached the limit he won't face any message or delay.

Per day limit gives IMMEDIATE delay effect.
