Max Disk Usage Size?

#1 Postby shareitall » Sep 21, 2011 12:18 am

I have a server that has 2x1TB SATA2 Hard drives.

In the Settings area the Max disk usage is set to 891G.

I was informed that during installation only the first disk is partitioned and used.

(/dev/sdb) should be ready to be used as soon as a partition is made on it.

Should I change the 891G to something larger to accommodate the larger space available?

You need to have a raid installation for that.

If hardware is not available, try to set a software raid if it's possible.

Raid can had some harddisk in one, it's more usefull for a file hosting service.

Sorry if my english is not clear ;)
