Minimum or Maximum error message reappears after correction

#1 Postby hanji » Nov 14, 2006 10:01 pm

I found a bug where the Minimum file size or Maximum file size error message appears after you correct the problem. This is in 'inline' mode.

This is reproducable on your demo:
http://www.sibsoft.net/upload_form_pro.html

1. Browse and select a file (1 byte is my example which is less than 7KB min)
2. Check 'Show upload status on this page'
3. Click Upload Files

You will be presented with Minimum size limit error message

4. Click 'Close Window'

Now 'Delete' the small file and find a file that will work, click Upload Files.

You'll be shown the original error of file being too small then directed to progress. It's like the message is cached. This happens with maximum message as well, and is somewhat related to the 'Stop Upload' problem because it will go away if you refresh the upload form screen first.

Thanks!

Fixed caching problem. Have some troubles with FF, but found a small hack for it :)
Sent you the latest fixed version.
These fixes will appear in next XUpload release.

Hello

Thanks for pumping out that fix. I've confirmed that the problem has been corrected in IE and Firefox. Thanks for the great support!
