I think someone is targeting POSonline with fraudulent payments in the hopes of them dropping File Hosts. My account has also been suspended for 24 hours...

But what I can't understand is How posonline can just suspend their merchant accounts without asking us first.

We as file hosting companies are not responsible for the users that make these transactions.

Have you received any reply from them Coolaid?

I really think posonline should treat their merchants better to sustain a healthy relationship with file hosting companies.

What they should do is block the users making the fraudulent transactions IP address and not ban merchant accounts. :(
I agree, it's frustrating being banned because of one user. The user has made more than 430 worth of fraudulent payments all while using a proxy. They then have the nerve to request payouts for the sales they 'earnt'. The alarming thing is it's so blatant, too blatant to be someone trying to con us. It's more like a strategic attack. The idiot bought 2 1 year packages within 5 minutes for the same user for Christ sake!

I don't want to bad mouth POS...yet. But I really do have to wonder what anti fraud checks they do. Why were blatantly fraudulent payments even authorised? Do they even match cards with billing address, names etc?

I really believe adultking is behind this! Just glad posonline actually made an effort to try and resolve this. They really are helping the file hosting industry a lot by accepting us! I hope they will be around for much longer! Great service and awesome support!

That is exactly what happened to me right now. 1 User purchased 2 730 Day packages in a few seconds. Its really frustrating that they dont reply to emails either. I have been waiting for over an hour without any response. 300 active users on our premium page now and there is no way for them to purchase accounts.

I think I have an idea on who is behind this. Adultking... Operator of the website stopfilelockers.com
Out of curiousity, did you have a PPS program in place?

Glad to here it Bee, they have kindly re-activated mine.

I still have concerns though. There's no real way for us as hosts to stop fraudulent payments. Fraudulent payments should be minimised at the root which is the payment provider. I'd like to see Verified by Visa and Mastercard 3dSecure implemented. And perhaps more stringent checks for each transaction, the billing address should match 100%, IP etc.

Does anyone use OTP with POSonline? Does it effect sales?

the same happened to my account.

I was the first probably. Don't know

But great to see I'm not the only one!

I hope Posonline understands now that I never tried to scam him or something...

He never blocked my account... thats ok

if you read the thread a few posts before I wrote the same as you guys..

Probably it's time that he understands we are no scammer but we got "scammed" by some assholes like adultking or somebody :(

I wish all of us that posonline sees that we are honest members...

1 guy "adultking" probably wants to put all xfs clients into 1 corner and destroy them...

I understand posonline why he react like he did but I think it was a little bit too much...

I hope everything works out for us and no one gets scammed by someone called "adultking" or other scammer...

your accounts got locked because of only 1 guy is that right???

or what happened?

I also had 4 payments within minutes...

Your posts show me that I was not the only one... So you see posonline...

I told you the truth..

Posonline helped us resolve the problems. They have been very helpful and replied really quickly to my emails.

All you need to do is activate registration to buy premium and ban the ip address of the fraudster.

Posonline have activated my account without having to wait long.

Thanks posonline! I was wrong about my previous posts

Needing to register doesn't resolve the problem. Anyone can register and use a stolen card. Also the person is using US Proxies so an IP would be useless. There's nothing we can do on our side...

I told him... he told me to activate OTP...but some of my clients don't have mobile phones...

but OTP makes it harder for the scammer... it is more secure of course
