New desktop uploader

#1 Postby admin » May 29, 2012 11:30 am

Hi Everyone

Existing desktop uploader is quite outdated and do not work on some windows versions, crashes, etc.

We spent some time and developed the new one. It's copy of an existing uploader (in terms of functionality), but we looking to extend it in near future.

Please download and test it. Feel free to post your bug reports and feature requests here.

We've fixed problem with file name - need to update fs.cgi on main server (do a backup!).

As for logo and preset domain - do you really need that? Unbranded universal uploader which will work with all XFS-based sites doesnt seems to be a bad idea.

Both Windows and Mac versions were updated. Few bugs were fixed.
This version is going to be final during next week or so.

universal uploader would be great! But there should be an option to set the site specific details as default or preset so users need not change it.

Does this work on all versions of XFS (I have 1.9) or is it only meant for 2.0 and upwards?

i login to my account ( does not says a error so it should be fine) and it still refuse to upload
