New install problems

#1 Postby Desita » Jan 01, 2015 12:04 am

Hi,

I'm having two issues right now with a new installation.
First issue is just the upload progress bar doesn't work.

Also, I'm trying to run the installer on an extra fileserver, and it gives me this error:
Can't write XFSConfig at /var/www/cgi-bin/install_fs.cgi line 28.

Error log mentions this:
[Wed Dec 31 17:53:30 2014] [error] [client (ip removed)] [Wed Dec 31 17:53:30 2014] install_fs.cgi: Can't write XFSConfig at /var/www/cgi-bin/install_fs.cgi line 28., referer: http://server1.tstorage.info/cgi-bin/install_fs.cgi
[Wed Dec 31 17:54:20 2014] [error] [client (ip removed)] script not found or unable to stat: /var/www/cgi-bin/xfsconfig
[Wed Dec 31 17:54:27 2014] [error] [client (ip removed)] script not found or unable to stat: /var/www/cgi-bin/xfsconfig.pm

I've gone through and checked all permissions on both servers. Script tells me permissions are fine.

What else can I check on?

Still hoping for a possible solution.

Thanks.

Stupid question.

Did you follow the install instructions?

Check permissions on all files, they should be set as said in install doc.

It says permissions are fine. I also installed the perl stuff that was needed for main server, just to see if it helped, but still the same result.

Also, try to disable selinux.
In fact, something prevents from xfsconfig.pm to be written.

Selinux was the issue.

Thanks.
