payment methods

#1 Postby stdio » Sep 02, 2014 4:43 pm

I am interested in buying XFS again but I want to know which of the payment methods from the payment mod is actually working? $60 seems a lot taking 90% (or more) of the gateways do not work with file hosting sites.

I'm not saying that they don't work. What I am saying and this is a fact - many of those payment providers as you know are no longer accepting this business model. So I am asking who out of those listed are happy to process for file hosts?
I'm sure it will be useful to know for the community here.

You're talking about specific list of payment gateways (included in Payment Gateways mod) and saying that "this is a fact" that many of those are no longer accepting file sharing sites. So, please provide these "facts". Without facts, that's just your wild guesses.

Why are you being so unhelpful admin? We have purchased two licenses of your script in the past with many mods. We are trying to understand what processors/payment providers are happy to work with the file host model because we are looking to purchase again but you are being so so unhelpful. Your forum here and others is awash with file host owners struggling as to who they can use. So instead of the aggressive "provide proof" comments, please tell us who are happy to work with file hosts for the long term who are on your payments mod?

@stdio, admin meant all listed processors will work with you if you have clean business model

so if you are having a PPD or PPS model, forget about payment processors; you need to get your own merchant account

Hi there - can you elaborate on that? I am kinda new to this business and I am having a hard time finding a way to accept premium membership payments. What are the latest good ones out there? And what do you mean your own merchant account, is that authorize.net?

So, what business model should I have for accepting payments by Paypal? This payment method doesn't work. They just block account.

I think that statement is unfair as PayPal tend to block anyone and everyone that wants to use it with something PayPal cannot control, meaning eBay.

So many people hate PayPal and there are even websites set up about this.
