Porting XFileSharing Pro to Windows IIS?

#1 Postby Nick » Aug 08, 2008 6:11 pm

I've recently discovered that symlinks are possible under windows due to this new executable released by Microsoft, mklink.

You can find more details about it here:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/libr ... 53194.aspx

and since the script is in CGI and IIS 7 handles fastcgi quite well (tested it myself under a windows server 2008 enterprise) I would think this would be a good selling point for you guys and a lot more easy to setup for the people not that good with Linux ...

Just an idea.

Regards,

Nick
