i got several servers from ovh
this is a beast http://www.ovh.co.uk/dedicated_servers/hg_2011_ssd.xml, but not enough hard drive
but before jumping on such server, is your site live ? how many visitors you got ? is it only download or download and streaming ?

oh then u can start with this server http://www.ovh.co.uk/dedicated_servers/eg_best_of.xml
i dont know what is your budget and how many traffic your expecting, but the best thing to do is to separate the site from the file server

dont waist your money on big server
better to spread files on several servers

that's way overkill for 1000 visitors/day
I have 15k/day and run the main website on a xeon 3xxx dualcore with 1 gb ram for 50 euros/month (runs also many other websites on it)
for a fileserver the eg best of is good, but you can't upgrade hdd space on it!
