File not found

#1 Postby oldmanman » Jul 12, 2012 4:48 pm

Does this have any issues with my .htaccess ? I have downloaded the latest htaccess and uploaded it to my server.

Let's say I uploading a file.jpg file. I can see this file in ..../files/7/randomABC/filename.jpg in my server after I have create the download link. However I will NOT be able to download the file, and it links me to the File Not Found page.

However, if i add a .txt extension and upload this new file.jpg.txt file. I will have no problem downloading it.

I have not set anything to allow/not allowed extensions. They're completely blank.

May I ask what could be a possible reason for this issue. Thanks

I try to understand you but it is not easy.
You have an old version of the script and just uploaded a new htaccess file? Why? For what? :/

Hello,

I am using the latest version of the script. 2.0
The issue that I am facing now is that.. it seems like only .txt files
can be downloaded and any other extensions results in a "File Not Found"
example:

- file.txt uploads and downloads without any issue.
- file.jpg uploads no issue. But downloading it results in File Not Found.
(Traced the source and the file is residing in the correct location)

I thought this could be a .htaccess issue, hence i reuploaded it. But nope. It is not... Anyone know what could be causing this issue? I've not filled in anything in the "Extensions allowed/not allowed"
