$1.70/CPM with Adsense

45% of my users are from the US however 80% of my profits come from the US with Adsense. I've been meaning to get back to some advertising agencies that have contacted me as they're more geographically located.

E.g. I think the best thing is to use advertising based on the location of the user. So if they're in Asia then you should get advertising from an Asian advertising agency which will offer a far better CPM than say Adsense to its Asian audience.

I've received many payments by Clicksor as well as far back as 2005. Their ad network today though is pretty bad and filled with ad-ware though.

Well... trinsic do you even know what clicksor is? kinda doubting the common sense people have these days... kinda needs to be filled with adware to become a advertising company..... surprising you never knew that.

I think you need to learn the difference between advertising and ad-ware.

Ad-ware infects computers with malware (malicious software) for purposes such as zombie networks and stealing information.

Normal advertising is for selling products, pretty big difference.

the problem with clicksor and tlv is they just count 10-20% of your views. so it's scam in my eyes!

of course they pay. but when they earn 1000 you just get 50 ;)

There the same but you didn't separate them, also ad-ware is also a anti-virus product, Without proof your words are just words nothing to back them up.

Claiming something has some nasties inside without proof is like saying the mayan calendar is real.

I have seen nasty viruses in clicksor's ads and have had my computer infected as well on multiple occasions. They should be in jail if you ask me.

Very surprised that adsense hasn't banned a filehost site.

I'm on a very old Adsense account, I think they're less kind to new users signing up.

Yes, i have a conversation with google staff before. they need you to have more content on your page so that they can at least grab some info to target ads on your customer.

But before they approved your request, you have to make sure your file server does not content copy right material as they able to scan thru anyway.

Don't see why not to be honest as long as it isn't hosting porn and being in line with the laws then you should be allowed to run adsense as there is nothing illegal with your site just as with any site, as your site has like 2,000,000% less copyright/illegal stuff then youtube/google.

If google denies you and says its because your against there terms then ask them why do they have ads on there own search engine and youtube as in there terms there own products are against there own terms and conditions.
I think the real problem is the lack of content on page. They want some content. If one could incorporate a script that displays latest news or tech news on the page, they would be more than happy to allow it. I noticed some sites tried it and got banned.
