#1 Postby filesharing4me » Jul 23, 2014 10:36 am

Does anyone have a method for direct bitcoin payments?

I see mtgox, but since they are bye bye ...
I want to do a direct payment option... does it exist?

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=bitcoin+payment+pr ... odule&seen

Oh, look .... I can be a snarky *** too.

However, I still see nothing in there about anyone who has successfully integrated it.

And, please... assume I have googled it next time.

Thanks,

We have Bitpay plugin ready, but it will require your site to be accessible via https.

Hang on here, Admin says you need HTTPS enabled but support will not issue support for a HTTPS xfilesharing script site.

As for your Bitcoin issue i have it enabled. The latest update to Payment processors gives you Bitpay. You do not need HTTPS to get it working, i know because i have set it up and received payments from a HTTP site.

If you mean the error message that HTTPS is not available on the Payment Settings then ignore it, the line is actually hard coded in to the Bitpay.pm script.

Also i am not sure if you have "fixed" the issue that Bitpay doesn't show on your Payment mod screen as you have to add a couple of lines to the script for it to show.

I had a similar discussion with AnotherIdiot before and I just would like to say that I got it working by following his instructions ;).
