New buyer

#1 Postby adamfinch » Oct 15, 2016 8:24 am

Hello,

I'm going to buy the complete suite of XFileSharing Pro.

My question is, what would be the best setup on the "hosting"?

Should I take a dedicated server + host the files on Amazon AWS?

What is the most cost effective solution?

Any hosting company you can suggest who is ok with file hosting websites?

Thanks

You can start with simple VPS server, not necessarily for dedicated server if the website traffic not high yet. Later you can change server if needed. Im new in xFileSharing too, but i have video website with 40k unique visitors per day and im using VPS with medium parameters. In my case CDN is the trick.

Amazon S3 is really good. If your site brings a good income take S3.

That is my recommendation.

Cheers

As per our (our customers) experience, dedicated servers are usually cheaper than any type of Cloud, CDN, etc servers (where you have to pay separately for disk usage, cpu, bandwidth, etc).

With the Dedicated Server is ok. The cost depends of how much traffic do you expect, the bandwidth, and other things.
