File Not Found

#1 Postby lavahiphop » Jan 10, 2010 8:13 pm

I tried search but could not find anything to helpful.

Why is it that some people, when they come to my site, anytime they click "Download", it brings them to the file not found page? This is only for a small amount of people, thankfully. But i still receive complaints daily.

I will pay someone who knows how to, or who wants to fix this. IT is really annoying and it is the only thing holding my site back. I still cannot pinpoint the people it happens to. Maybe certain countries? Thanks!!

Probably this happens to people that have dynamic IPs? So each request IP is different. So direct links are not working for them sometimes.

If you're using 1.6 version, check Site Settings - Files tab. "Allow download from" option, try to set it to 111.222.***.***
