Error with an extra file server

#1 Postby jeyul » May 29, 2010 7:55 am

My HDD got full and I couldn't delete the files through admin panel and so I asked my hosting company to delete some file from the folder but now I get this error from srv2:
File Server tests:
api.cgi: ERROR (
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
)
upload.cgi: ERROR (problems with link)
htdocs URL accessibility: OK

What should I do? I tried reinstalling the server but with no success. Also, files from this server aren't accessible .

Check permissions on all cgi files in file server cgi-bin. You may also take a look in apache error log.

There should be no install_fs.cgi if you already installed file server.

for the script "only" & not your server support ;)

send a email to support for a paid help & they might arrange something

Answering like this to someone that is trying to help you is what causes someone to not want to respond anymore.

I'm thinking of changing the script from xfilesharing to something else... it consumes a lot of resources and has quite many problems.

Thanks but I already found one :) Faster, easier to install and edit and with a module with points for countries at the same price.

i dont think he cares if you post the name of that script

it got a few nice stuff to if we got other scripts

reasons why i woulnd care

* i can steal idea's from the other script (o yea :D )
* i can show that my script is better with more functions then that script
* i got proof that every1 know this script but no1 ever heard of that other script (only a few persones)
* it shows the users a difference betwean scripts

that are a few reasons why i woulnd care , but i am not the owner of this script so :S its not up to me

if i can ask , can you send me the name of the script because i like to knwo what script you found
if your script is called xtrauploadV2(xtrafile) then you are messed up (freeware)
because it is php based and doesnt do what it need to do (was my first script i tryed , worked fine until a certain point that i needed to administer files and other stuff that it coulnd handle )

anyway , if you dont mind , email me the name of the script (as pm's are disabled on this forum) to webmaster @ powerchaos.com

or leave the name as a reply here ^^
Thank you
Greetings From PowerChaos
