Problem with users purchasing premium membership

#1 Postby RockDiz » Aug 05, 2011 4:30 pm

Alright so I've had two clients purchase an account and a new account wasn't created automatically. The users weren't registered. I checked the most recent accounts and there were no new premium users. I've searched for the email they purchased the account with and nothing shows up.
Do the users have to register for a free account then buy one??
Is there a fix?
thanks!

A lot of them don't use the search form. I've solved a lot of problems with that.

So other people, try the search form before asking a question :)

@ankurs => thanks for your intervention, agreed with an increase script price.

@admin => thanks, it's time upgrade the price, your script is to cheap.
(Would like to have a real and fast support and new custom mods, and I'm ready to pay for that)

What makes you think they will have real support and new custom mods if they raise the price?

wow, thanks for the help guys.
honestly you guys act like i don't know how to use a search bar. I browsed the fourm and simply cannot find a solution. It would be so much useful if you can just post a link to the thread that has the solution.
I wish the support would be a little more professional to their clients. Im sure a lot of users agree to that.seriously, if you're gonna respond to a thread then make it useful, not make fun of users who need help.

The problem lays more in that most of the script owners dont have any server admins that actually can fix stuff like this by doing some fault searching.
Logs gives alot of infomation, and most can be solved throught that.

Using some money in having a good server admin will fix problems much faster and make less load on sibsoft. And from that they can get more time fixing the real problems.

When it comes to your problem, you can see alot of info in the ipn.log
For experiense, dont trust the users. IPN log tells alot :)
If you run more than one web frontend. Then custom code might be needed.

If they aint registred they will get an automated created account.
If logged in they will active premium on their current account.

Post the IPN log for the 2 users and it would be easier to help.
