Purchased version 1.9 and getting 500 error on Install

#1 Postby hecolivares » Aug 02, 2011 3:22 pm

For some reason I am getting a 500 error when trying to install. The strange thing is that (I admit) I had installed a nulled version and I had no problems installing it. My hosing service has Perl installed on it´s Cpanel so I suppose I don´t have to install anything extra. I followed the instructions carefully but no luck. I know I have to check out the .htaccess file but I have no idea what to do there. What are the most common problems here? Please Help

I have already contacted the Admin about this.

Make sure you have the corect file permissions. Like install.cgi must have 755

Problem resolved

I changed to a dedicated server and all is working now. By the way, I was testing the script on a shared Hostgator server and the script wasn't working.

Contact [email protected] with FTP or SSH access to the server, they will fix this asap.
This happens sometimes.
