My server is running in the 73% server load area.
I have seen here on the forum that a remote mysql server will help to reduce CPU overload.
What type of server specs will I need for the remote mysql server to accomplish this for now and for future growth?
Processor?
RAM?
Disk Size?
Uplink Port Speed?
Bandwidth?
Anything else I should be looking at that I haven't mentioned?

just a normal webhost is fine for you
put there your website , and keep the file server on the dedicated server
the webserver spects basicly depends on the amount of users you have (visitors) that generate a certain load on the server
depending on that load you need to choose betwean webhosting , vps server or dedicated server ( dual / single core @ 4GB ram should be fine for a single website )
hopely this can help you
