Server Hosting

#1 Postby Raz0r » Sep 07, 2013 3:51 am

I know it's been posted quite a lot around here, but i can't seem to find the answer to my question.

I'm planning on using 2 servers, 1 for the website and the other for the files.

For the website, could I just use a virtual server? Like the "premium m" from http://www.leaseweb.com/en/cloud-hostin ... ual-server

Then for the file server, can someone recommend a good plan, for starting off?

File server depends on how much cash u have.

Can be 1gb ram, dual core, 500gb drive to 128gb ram, dual quad core, 48x3tb drives.

To start with a stable server get quad core, 8gb ram, 2x1tb raid1 at least.

Get at least 1gbit port, with any config.
