Max bandwidth last x days x Mbytes per user?

#1 Postby uploadmuchacho » Jan 12, 2011 10:17 am

Can you add this function? Big problems are with Premium accounts, they PAY for bandwidth!!! but now it is so that if two and more people have the same IP addres and they have different Premium accounts then they share all together X Mbytes.

I need each user to have their own bandwidth and not share it with others.

It's working not only by IP. When user is logged in - then it's counting for username. For anonymous users (not logged in) - it's counting by IP only.

My test:

2 computers with the same public IP address. On every computer I logged in with another Premium User. I download the file on the computer number 1. This filesize was subtract from bandwidth of Premium user on computer number 2 too. If anonymous user download something, so this is also deducted from the bandwidth of premium users.

I need to separate each Premium user have his own bandwidth. Premium user pays for it.

Many Internet providers have one IP address for all their clients in our country. So therefore need to solve this problem.

I'm also facing that problem. I tested with loggined but it counts with per IP. In our country, the whole country have only around 6 Public IP per ISP. Only 2 ISP is present.

How can I sell premium?

I contacted to the support and got the very ugly answer.

Here is my msg to them

Bandwith limit is done by per IP and most of my customers will download with same IP. How can I solve this error? Premium users are also counted with per IP.

Here is their reply

If they’re sharing absolutely the same IP – then there’s no way.

We are not stupid enough not to consider like them.
I'm even using same IP with my customers. Should I ban myself? Same IP problem is happened in our whole country. We have only around 6 public IP. How to sell if they must use different IP? A very ugly answer of theirs. I don't believe I can't edit it.

I'll try to edit to change bandwidth limit per account.
