Check your web server logs. Looks like something wrong with your installation.

We have checked all logs and there is no such error being thrown. The installation was not done by us, but all URL's fully qualified.

Is this a perl error, reasearch on the internet shows it is, but we do not see a fix.any help?

it is possible that you get a time out when it calls the script

in apache you got settings to allow max XX conections and child processes that get killed after XX idle time and so on

maybe it has to do with those settings , that you get a time out when it try to request the direct link (or just to many conections)

but that only counts if you modifie the default settings or that you got a lot of visitors at the same time

maybe worth checking it ?

You maybe right, thank you for trying to assist.i would agree completely but I also get that message when I try to remote upload a non-direct link.It is not an apache error becuase it would be in the logs.it is a script error, but we are not able to find it,or a solution.

Not sure if maybe increaing timeout value will do anything, because the error is gotten after regular upload also right after generating the links. It always happens when it is suppose to display the links generated.
