Upgrade to 2.3 issue

#1 Postby AnotherIdiot » May 24, 2015 6:59 am

I am trying this on a development server so i am not panicking. When trying to update from 2.2 to 2.3 i am getting this error:

Can't exec:
Duplicate column name 'file_adult' at Modules/DataBase.pm line 64.

Funny enough there is an old topic discussing exactly the same thing from a couple of years ago but it wasn't solved.

I suppose the easiest question is how do i delete a duplicate column name from my database?

Hi,

Get a cheap droplet from DigitalOcean (other server hosts available) and install your xfs script on it. Then when you want to access it point your host file to it to get past the invalid license issue.

Please let us know what is your current script version and what upgrade script are you trying to execute (post its name here). Seems there's version mismatch.

It was a version mismatch and all my fault.

I copied and pasted the update sql line from the install.txt file and it still says 21_22 not 22_23. Once I sorted that it all went well.
