Upload folder

#1 Postby AnotherIdiot » Oct 24, 2014 12:43 pm

Hey guys,

When looking at the advanced settings on an Upload it asks what folder it is to be put in. Right now it gives an option of '/' and nothing else.

Lets say i want to give a user a select folder to upload to in advanced settings, where would you suggest setting up the folder and accessing it for an individual only?

So far i have tried a test folder in the upload folder but it still isn't selectable from my host. Has anyone got any pointers to first show the folder to everyone and then whitle it down to being seen by one person.

Thanks

This folder is about your Users My Files section. Check it and create a afolder like test123 and try upload again. You can see now / and test123 options.

i dont think its possible or too complicated, good luck :)

it takes a few minutes for a user to move his files to a specific folder, once he has uploaded via ftp

Yeah all i need is for the upload folder to show on the server somewhere. Its strange it doesn't do it automatically actually.
