Upload stops/ never starts

#1 Postby technoind » Jan 31, 2010 3:47 pm

I have been having this problem for a couple of days now, uploads get stuck most of the times they never start (both remote/or direct uploads). Sometimes the upload just takes of and gets stuck at some point usually before 20% completion, some of the uploads do get uploaded, very few tough. I need some assistance with this. All my users stopped uploading anything at all.

Edit: I've checked the cgi time out on both file servers. It is the same, this problem is only for one of the file servers from what i've observed.

*Both file servers are affected at the moment, first one just doesnt seem to generate the links after upload completion.

thanks

i also happen to me and 3 different servers even dedicated hosting.

The only way that seems not to be interrupted is uploader.exe program for windows, which provides SibSoft and the license.

Same problem here! What is happening??

Why are we get the same problem? This dont make any sense... we paid $120 for one script that is depending of external servers?

This makes me think about one thing... If sibsoft.net goes down or if the site ends, our sites stop to work!?

XFS script don't depend on our server, only using optional deURL api for generating short links, but u can disable it in site settings.

Email to [email protected] for exact investigation. I bet it's your server problem since many site owners are pretty happy with script now.

I got the same problem tried to tweak Apache time out settings and it didn't resolve the issue.Looks like script hangs on big files.

has there been a fix for this issue or was it a case by case problem resulting in several different factors causing the problem(s). I have sent an email to sibsoft today for further investigation of my problem, thanks.
