Why is download speed so slow?

#1 Postby Timmy » Apr 03, 2010 5:50 pm

Why is download speed so slow in XFileSharing Pro?
I can download at 1200 kb/s in Megaupload and hotfile and in my website the maximum that I can download a file is about 200 kb/s and not always...
What could be? I tried the XFileSharing Pro demo and have more speed!
My server speed is good, but with XFileSharing Pro not...

What could be?

Can someone please test my server download speed?

My config:

Thank you guys

Where is your server located? And at what ISP?

Also you shoulnd use fileserver on your main web.
Its better to make a vhost on the same server, like fs01... incase you need to move web or fileserver around.

Send me an email if you interested in some help / info.
Ill do it for free.

wowww... you downloaded at 4.70 MB/s? how?
did you use premium account? I only can download 200 kb/s maximum...

My server is from OVH (France)

Are you sure that is better make a vhost on the same server?
What is the advantages? will solve my download spped?

What do you say people? Did you make that also?

it makes it easier for you to move you server away from ovh ;)
They are the "crap"

when your site grows.. you want to keep web server and fileservers on different servers. Due load etc.

Where can I see the MRGT graph?

Btw, did someone else test my server speed? If yes, how much speed you can download the file?
