XUpload Failing on Large Files

I've paid for and downloaded XUpload Pro and I have installed it here:

I've followed the instructions, CHMODed everything and updated my server info in the settings file. It all seems to work perfectly for files that are small (i.e. a couple of hundred kb's) but things don't go so smoothly with larger files. When I try to upload a 2MB+ file the 'Upload in Progress' box pops open, it lists the files, sits there for a while and then says 'Upload failed'.

Why? And how do I fix this?

I've double checked the install instructions. And the uploads of smaller files seem to work fine (I can view them in the correct folder when I check via FTP). The account has lots and lots of free space (About 2GB) so that shouldn't be an issue either. I've also searched this forum but found no previous topics with a similar problem.
