Can I skip re-encoding a video that's already in the right format?
Q
I upload MP4 files that are already correctly formatted. Can I avoid having the server re-encode them from scratch?
A
In Settings > Video > HD + Mobile mod, disable "Encode HD videos". If you only need a smaller mobile-friendly copy generated, enable "Encode Mobile videos" instead and leave the original untouched.
