Does my encoding server need a lot of disk space?

Q If I set up a dedicated encoding server, does it need large amounts of storage?
A No - if encoded files are moved to a separate storage/file server after processing, the encoding server only needs enough space to hold files temporarily while they're being converted, not to store your whole library.
